Two of them are coordinated by Polish managers, reports the National Science Centre (NCN).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In this year&#8217;s JPND competition, international consortia submitted 92 proposals on the mechanisms and biological background behind non-pharmacological therapies in neurodegenerative diseases. Fourteen winning projects were selected with the aim of adapting a holistic personalised approach to the treatment of these diseases.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All projects with Polish teams were among the five highest-rated projects on the international ranking list.
