Food and Ideology in the People&#8217;s Republic of Poland&#8217;.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;This award is particularly valuable to me, because it proves that serious academic books, accompanied by a huge bibliography and a plethora of detailed footnotes, can at the same time be literarily attractive and reach a wide range of readers. This is a great joy for the researcher&#8221;, says Dr Monika Milewska.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8216;Blind Kitchen. Food and Ideology in the People&#8217;s Republic of Poland&#8217; is not only a historical monograph, but also an engaging essay that takes the reader into the world of twentieth-century tastes.
