The award was given for adapting universal design and the best urban planning and architectural solutions for adapting buildings and spaces to the needs of people with disabilities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Icebreakers is a competition that recognises good practices of institutions and companies in eliminating barriers for people with disabilities. It is the largest and longest-running (for 17 years) competition of its kind in Poland, responding to changing needs and pointing out new trends in the social involvement of business, institutions and organisations.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The idea behind the Icebreakers is to break stereotypes, prejudices and, above all, the ice of indifference towards people with disabilities.
