{"id":247152,"date":"2022-10-28T20:24:41","date_gmt":"2022-10-28T18:24:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/polishscience.pl\/?p=247152"},"modified":"2022-10-28T20:24:41","modified_gmt":"2022-10-28T18:24:41","slug":"best-thesis-in-the-field-of-space-research-awarded","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.polishscience.pl\/en\/best-thesis-in-the-field-of-space-research-awarded\/","title":{"rendered":"Best thesis in the field of space research awarded"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The competition for the Prize of the President of the Polish Space Agency for the best diploma thesis in the field of space research has been settled.<\/p>\n<p>Forty-nine theses were submitted to the competition from 19 universities and research units from across the country; mostly from the Warsaw University of Technology (9) and the Wroc\u0142aw University of Life Sciences (5).<\/p>\n<p>In the Engineering or Bachelor&#8217;s thesis category, the first award was received by Maciej Kupras of the Technical University of \u0141\u00f3d\u017a for his thesis &#8216;Determination of aerodynamic forces depending on the angle of the steering surfaces of the Starship space vehicle during its return to Earth&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>In the Master&#8217;s thesis category, the first award was presented to Martyna \u015awierczy\u0144ska of the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krak\u00f3w for her thesis &#8216;Analysis of the influence of lunar conditions on the regolith transport process&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>In the doctoral thesis category, the first award was given to Grzegorz Bury from the Wroc\u0142aw University of Life Sciences for his thesis &#8216;Precise orbit determination of GNSS Satellite using microwave and laser ranging data&#8217;.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The competition for the Prize of the President of the Polish Space Agency for the best diploma thesis in the field of space research has been settled.
