The scientist deals with forest ecology, the biology of seed years in which trees produce an exceptionally high number of seeds and the impact of climate change on tree reproduction.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Despite his short career in science (he received his PhD in 2017 and his habilitation in 2020), Prof Bogdziewicz is a world-class scientist. He has published dozens of articles in top scientific journals (e.g. PNAS, Nature Plants, Current Biology, Ecology Letters).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The NCN Prize is the most prestigious scientific award granted to researchers under 40 years of age and working in Poland. It is awarded in the areas of humanities, social sciences and arts, science and technology and life sciences.
