The award is given to distinguished persons in the world of culture who make a special contribution to the development, dissemination and protection of cultural heritage.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Prof. Tomczak has been working with the Academic Choir of the University of Gdansk since 1992. He has won numerous Grand Prix of choral competitions with it and gold medals at choral Olympiads in Busan (South Korea 2002), Bremen (Germany 2004), Xiamen (China 2006), Riga (Latvia 2014).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;My sincere congratulations to the Professor! I am proud that he directs our university choir.
