This is intended to provide an opportunity for those who, for various reasons, are unable to attend classes within the university premises.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ewa Pi\u0142at, Director of JUTW, emphasised in her speech that the Jagiellonian University of the Third Age relatively quickly managed to convince its senior students to use the tools enabling remote learning and in this way it has largely regained its pre-pandemic numbers as perhaps the only institution of its kind in Poland.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Jagiellonian University&#8217;s Vice-Chancellor for Research, Professor Piotr Ku\u015btrowski, pointed out that the University&#8217;s teaching activity is one of its two core missions, and that the students of the University of the Third Age are a group that receives special care.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The inauguration of the 41st academic year at the Jagiellonian University of the Third Age (JUTW) was held at the Auditorium Maximum of the Jagiellonian University (UJ) in Krakow.\u00a0 From this year onwards, classes at JUTW will be held in a hybrid form: lectures organised in the classroom will also be available online.
