The aim is to strengthen the potential while maintaining the autonomy of both universities. For the first project work, the universities have received a grant of almost PLN 5 million from the Ministry of Education and Science.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Thanks to the grant, a group of external experts will be selected to assess the potential of federalisation. University teams are already working on the preparation of relevant data.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The cooperation between the federation entities will concern a wide range of activities: from the development of good practices in the area of management, to scientific projects, to new jointly run courses such as biomedicine.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The federation means that the universities retain their identities, they have their rectors, each retains its Senate but they are headed by a president.
