The expedition was primarily focused on research into changes in the fronts of the Kaffi\u00f8yra glaciers and their foregrounds. The expedition, which lasted from mid-June to early September 2022, involved UMK scientists and students, a researcher from the Polish Academy of Sciences and scientists from Taiwan.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The aim of the expedition was to continue standard glaciological studies related primarily to monitoring the mass balance of glaciers, which are characterised by some of the longest measurement series on Svalbard.
