The appointments were signed by the Minister of Development and Technology.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Council of Metrology is an entity supporting the development of metrology in Poland. It is a consultative and advisory body to the President of the Central Office of Measures (GUM). It gives its opinion on the status and directions of development of national metrology, the substantive activities of the metrology administration, the GUM&#8217;s four-year strategic action plan and annual plans and reports. At the request of the President of the GUM or the minister responsible for economy, it prepares analyses and positions on the indicated areas.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Council comprises representatives of state structures, industry and science.
