The competition in F\u00fcrth, Germany, attracted 55 competitors from 20 countries.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;The final proved by far the most difficult. In an extremely close and high-level duel, I won 4:3 against the German Jan Lorenz, winning the title of World Champion in Tetris Classic DAS&#8221;, said the winner.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tetris is a puzzle game developed in the 1980s. It has been growing in popularity again in recent years. It involves arranging falling tetrominoes, i.e. figures consisting of four squares connected together. Filling an entire row of the board results in it being cleared and points being scored.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Adam Matys comes from Bytom and is a second-year student of mathematics at the Silesian University of Technology.
