{"id":238230,"date":"2022-09-08T10:10:49","date_gmt":"2022-09-08T08:10:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/polishscience.pl\/?p=238230"},"modified":"2022-09-08T10:11:05","modified_gmt":"2022-09-08T08:11:05","slug":"kielce-to-host-european-rover-challenge-2022","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.polishscience.pl\/en\/kielce-to-host-european-rover-challenge-2022\/","title":{"rendered":"Kielce to host European Rover Challenge 2022\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A replica of the spacesuit of Neil Armstrong, the first man on the moon, a live connection with an expedition exploring the bottom of the Pacific Ocean, the best Mars rovers from around the world and a competition for a recycled rover are just a few of the many attractions awaiting visitors to the 8th European Rover Challenge (ERC) competition, which will take place from 9-11 September 2022 at the Swietokrzyska University of Technology in Kielce.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The ERC 2022 competition will host 30 teams from 10 countries on a specially designed artificial Martian track. The grand prize pool for the event&#8217;s final is $5,000.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Each of the following days of ERC 2022 will be a separate thematic zone. On Friday, experts will talk about exploration and the prospects for colonising Mars. On Saturday, space technology specialists will focus on man&#8217;s return to the Moon.
