The ceremonial signing of a letter of intent took place on 25 August 2022 at the headquarters of \u0141ukasiewicz &#8211; the Institute of Ceramics and Building Materials.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The aim of the investment is to create a research centre for innovative building materials in fire safety and noise protection, which will respond to socio-economic challenges related to construction, particularly important for the state&#8217;s scientific, economic and innovation policy.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The letter of intent was signed by Witold Koz\u0142owski, Marshal of the Ma\u0142opolska Region, and J\u00f3zef Gawron, Deputy Marshal of the Ma\u0142opolska Region, Professor Jerzy Lis, Rector of the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow, Professor Andrzej Bia\u0142kiewicz &#8211; Rector of the Krakow University of Technology, Professor Sylwester Tabor &#8211; Rector of the University of Agriculture in Krakow, Marek Chwa\u0142a, Commander of the State Fire Service Aspirants School in Krakow, as well as Pawe\u0142 Pichniarczyk, Director of the \u0141ukasiewicz Institute of Ceramics and Building Materials and Piotr Dardzi\u0144ski, President of the \u0141ukasiewicz Research Network.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Centre for Fire Safety and Acoustics, the only such research centre in the Ma\u0142opolska region, will be established in Krak\u00f3w.
