{"id":234248,"date":"2022-08-17T12:07:34","date_gmt":"2022-08-17T10:07:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/polishscience.pl\/?p=234248"},"modified":"2022-08-17T12:07:48","modified_gmt":"2022-08-17T10:07:48","slug":"polish-scientists-developing-implants-to-accelerate-the-healing-of-bone-damage","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.polishscience.pl\/en\/polish-scientists-developing-implants-to-accelerate-the-healing-of-bone-damage\/","title":{"rendered":"Polish scientists developing implants to accelerate the healing of bone damage"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>Scientists from the Faculty of Biology and Environmental Protection of the University of \u0141\u00f3d\u017a, Wroc\u0142aw University of Technology, Krak\u00f3w University of Technology and \u0141ukasiewicz &#8211; Institute of Ceramics and Building Materials, are working on an implant that will not only accelerate bone damage healing, but also have anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The project &#8220;Multifunctional bioactive composites for applications in regenerative medicine of the skeletal system&#8221; may prove to be a breakthrough in the development of regenerative medicine.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The aim of the project is to develop new polymer-ceramic composite biomaterials for use in regenerative medicine of the skeletal system.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The project has been running for two years.
