The vehicle accelerates up to 100 km per hour, and in off-road conditions it is able to travel about 90 km on a battery.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The buggy is able to travel over 150 km in energy saving mode, it accelerates up to 100 km per hour in 5 seconds. In order to create it, students used a high-voltage battery removed from a vehicle that had been involved in an accident. The battery itself was not damaged, however, and we gave it a second life while maintaining 90% of its efficiency &#8211; said Wiktoria Polczy\u0144ska, the project leader, during the presentation of the vehicle.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Young constructors also designed and built a new cooling system that will ensure appropriate working conditions for the drive system.
