Jerzy Szyszka from the Department of General Construction at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering and Architecture, the Rzesz\u00f3w University of Technology, was awarded a gold medal at the International Invention Fair INTARG 2022 and the &#8220;Award of The First Institute Researchers and Inventors (IRI)&#8221;.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">An interactive, solar-active thermal insulation wall with a heating function (ISAS) is a type of external wall that can be widely used in residential, public and industrial construction.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Unlike walls made with traditional technology, which minimizes heat exchange between the building and the external environment, the interactive solar-active wall has a selective thermal resistance.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Thanks to this, by reacting interactively to external climatic conditions, it protects against heat loss in winter, analogous to traditional walls, and in the case of sufficient solar radiation, it enables heat recovery as a result of photothermal conversion.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Project &#8220;Interactive solar active thermal insulation wall with heating function (ISAS)&#8221; by Dr Eng.
