It summarized previous activities within the conference &#8220;Let children think &#8211; mathematics and programming from scratch&#8221;.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The University received a grant from the Digital Poland program for the &#8220;development of digital competences among teachers and students from grades 1-3 of the Bia\u0142ystok and Sok\u00f3lski counties&#8221;. The project is implemented by the IT department of the Bia\u0142ystok University of Technology until the end of 2019 and its value is over PLN 1 million &#8211; informs the university.<\/p>\n<p>The main goal of the program is to introduce programming (as extracurricular activities, and in the longer term as integrated education) to 1-3 classes of primary schools in rural and rural-urban communes of the Bia\u0142ystok and Sok\u00f3lski counties.
