{"id":223272,"date":"2022-06-15T11:21:01","date_gmt":"2022-06-15T09:21:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/polishscience.pl\/?p=223272"},"modified":"2022-06-15T11:21:01","modified_gmt":"2022-06-15T09:21:01","slug":"scientists-from-the-university-of-gdansk-won-research-grants-in-the-polonaise-bis-competition","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.polishscience.pl\/en\/scientists-from-the-university-of-gdansk-won-research-grants-in-the-polonaise-bis-competition\/","title":{"rendered":"Scientists from the University of Gda\u0144sk won research grants in the Polonaise Bis competition"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>Dr Marta Anna Pob\u0142ocka from the International Cancer Vaccine Research Center and Dr Thomas George Zlosnik from the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science of the University of Gda\u0144sk (UG) have won research grants (over PLN 2 million) in the Polonaise Bis competition of the National Science Center.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dr Marta Pob\u0142ocka received her PhD at the University of Leicester, completed her postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Cambridge (Great Britain), and is currently starting cooperation with the International Center for Research on Anticancer Vaccines at the University of Gda\u0144sk.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dr Thomas George Zlosnik is a researcher of cosmology and gravity, previously working at the University of Oxford, the Perimeter Institute in Canada, Imperial College London and the Czech Academy of Sciences in Prague.
