The use of an algorithm inspired by nature resulted in energy savings and increased machine efficiency.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The use of mobile robots or robot arms in many areas of industry is not unusual today &#8211; it is even a common practice. They are often used, for example, for palletizing goods on production lines.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The researchers wanted to palletize as many items as possible from the production lines as quickly as possible and that they were evenly distributed in appropriate containers. It was also important to use as little energy as possible.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">An artificial bee colony algorithm supported by Deba rules was used to achieve the goal.
