A comprehensive support system for foreign students will be implemented at the Gda\u0144sk University of Technology. The project received funding in the amount of PLN 120,000. PLN from the program of the National Agency for Academic Exchange “Welcome to Poland”. Its aim is to strengthen the institutional capacity of universities in the area of servicing foreign students and employees.<\/b><\/p>\n
The project includes psychological support for foreign students, peer mediation workshops for students and mediation workshops for administration employees, open seminars on coping with crisis situations, workshops on cultural differences and culture shock, mindfulness training and yoga classes for students and employees.<\/span><\/p>\n Additionally, employees of Gda\u0144sk University of Technology will take part in two study visits – in Great Britain they will visit Oxford University and King’s College in London, in the Netherlands they will meet employees of Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam.<\/span><\/p>\n
