He was recognized for his breakthrough results in probabilistic potential theory, especially in the field of unimodal L\u00e9vy processes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Prize and financial gratification in the amount of 15 thousand PLN was awarded to Dr Tomasz Grzywny for his series of thirteen publications on the theory of the potential of step processes or, equivalently, non-local differential equations.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This is another distinction recently awarded to a researcher from Wroc\u0142aw University of Science and Technology.
