Prof. Andrzej Sokala, the rector of the university and Mariusz Smole\u0144, the president of the foundation, signed a letter of intent on joint actions aimed at saving extinct species of wild cats.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">They are planning to establish a center that will be run by the foundation, and veterinary employees and students will be able to use it for scientific, educational, research and clinical purposes. The uniqueness of the animals that will be staying at the center will also open up new opportunities for the university to establish international academic contacts.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The center is also to be open to the public; unique, unknown species of cats will be available to visit seven days a week.
