40 Polish scientific institutions are included in the latest list of 2000 best scientific institutions in the world prepared by the Center for World University Rankings (CWUR).<\/b><\/p>\n
19,788 scientific institutions around the world were assessed in the ranking. The best 2,000 were selected and presented in the CWUR.<\/span><\/p>\n CWUR rankings have been published since 2012. Their creators take into account quality of education and research results (number of scientific papers, publications in prestigious journals or citations).<\/span><\/p>\n Among Polish universities and research institutes, the Jagiellonian University in Krakow was taken the highest 381<\/span>st<\/span> place. The University of Warsaw took 402nd place and the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow – 590.<\/span><\/p>\n Other Polish scientific institutions in the CWUR ranking include: the Institute of Nuclear Physics of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Krak\u00f3w (638), the Warsaw University of Technology (711) and the University of Adam Mickiewicz in Pozna\u0144 (818).<\/span><\/p>\n
