The University of Wroc\u0142aw and the Palack\u00fd University in the Czech Olomouc are implementing a project that increases the language competences of high school and university graduates on the Polish-Czech border. The goal is to reduce unemployment in this region.<\/p>\n
– The beneficiaries of our activities will be people learning Polish in the Czech Republic and the Czech language in Poland who want to look for a job in neighboring countries – says Ivana Dobrotov\u00e1, head of the Section of Polish Philology at the Department of Slavic Studies at the Palacky University in Olomouc.<\/p>\n
The main element of the project “Increasing the language competences of future graduates in the cross-border labor market” are one or two semester courses. Students, who complete the course will receive a certificate confirming their knowledge of the language, they will also be able to take the verification exam (A2 or B1). The project will last until the first half of 2021.<\/p>\n
