As the part of the event, assistant professors and PhD holders were promoted, Prof. Anna Blom received the title of doctor honoris causa and Tadeusz Ferenc, the President of Rzesz\u00f3w received the Great Medal of the University of Rzesz\u00f3w.<\/p>\n<p>The celebrations began with the performance of Gaude Mater Polonia sung by the Choir of the Music Department under the direction of Dr Bo\u017cena Stasiowska-Chrobak and greetings from Prof. Sylwester Czopek, rector of the University of Rzesz\u00f3w.<\/p>\n<p>After the graduation ceremony, Prof. Sylwester Czopek said: &#8220;I would like to thank all the promoters for their work with PhD holders and for participating in today&#8217;s solemn promotion. I wish doctors a further development of their scientific interests. &#8221;<\/p>\n<p>In the second part of the celebrations of the University of Rzesz\u00f3w, Prof. Anna Blom received the title of doctor honoris causa, the President of Rzesz\u00f3w received the Great Medal of the University of Rzesz\u00f3w and the University staff received state awards.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On June 7, 2018, the University of Rzesz\u00f3w celebrated its anniversary.
