{"id":208871,"date":"2022-04-05T12:04:30","date_gmt":"2022-04-05T10:04:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/polishscience.pl\/?p=208871"},"modified":"2022-04-05T12:04:30","modified_gmt":"2022-04-05T10:04:30","slug":"three-institutions-create-the-lukasiewicz-lodz-institute-of-technology","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.polishscience.pl\/en\/three-institutions-create-the-lukasiewicz-lodz-institute-of-technology\/","title":{"rendered":"Three institutions create the \u0141ukasiewicz &#8211; \u0141\u00f3d\u017a Institute of Technology"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>On April 1, 2022, the \u0141ukasiewicz &#8211; \u0141\u00f3d\u017a Technological Institute was created in \u0141\u00f3d\u017a from the merger of three institutes belonging to the \u0141ukasiewicz Research Network: the Institute of Biopolymers and Chemical Fibers, the Institute of Leather Industry and the Institute of Textiles.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The establishment of the \u0141ukasiewicz &#8211; \u0141\u00f3d\u017a Institute of Technology is the result of a strategy pursued consistently for 3 years, with the aim to create strong \u0141ukasiewicz institutes able to respond to the challenges of the global economy. \u201cThe unique and complete offer of the \u0141\u00f3d\u017a institute means new opportunities to obtain international grants and foreign business partners for projects that will result in modern technologies implemented in Polish companies\u201d, said Piotr Dardzi\u0144ski, president of the \u0141ukasiewicz Research Network.<\/p>\n<p>After the merger of the \u0141\u00f3d\u017a organizations, the \u0141ukasiewicz Research Network has 26 institutes, over 7.500 employees.
