Polish Space Agency announced the results of the competition for the\u00a0Award of the President of the Polish Space Agency POLSA for the\u00a0best diploma thesis in Space research.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the\u00a0category of bachelor’s and\u00a0engineering\u00a0theses, the\u00a0awards were given to:<\/p>\n

Marta Pasternak from the University of Life Sciences in Wroc\u0142aw – 1st-degree award for the thesis: “Determination of phenological phases of crops with the use of Sentinel-1 and Sentinel-2 data”;<\/p>\n

Andrzej Laczewski from\u00a0the AGH University of Science and Technology in\u00a0Krakow\u00a0– 2nd degree award for the\u00a0work “Energy acquisition and\u00a0data transmission system for the stratospheric pseudo-satellite”;<\/p>\n

Grzegorz Pela from\u00a0the Warsaw University of Technology\u00a0– 3rd degree award for the\u00a0work “Design of an aerospike nozzle for\u00a0a rocket engine for\u00a0solid propellant”.<\/p>\n

In the\u00a0category of master’s theses, the highest scores were given to:<\/p>\n

Artur \u0141ukasik from the Warsaw University of Technology\u00a0– 1st\u00a0degree\u00a0award\u00a0for the\u00a0work “Analysis of the effectiveness of the PW-Sat2 satellite deorbital sail operation based\u00a0on experimental data from the\u00a0mission”;<\/p>\n

Grzegorz Marut from the University of Life Sciences in\u00a0Wroc\u0142aw\u00a0– 2nd degree award for the\u00a0thesis “Modeling the tropospheric delay in\u00a0real time\u00a0using the network of low-cost GNSS URANUS receivers”;<\/p>\n
