The described case concerns an employee of one of the mink farms in the voivodeship Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland who was free from symptoms, but the test gave a positive result. Scientists analyzed a sample taken from this person in February 2021. A PCR test showed that he got the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
