It was organized by the Bee Breeders platform and its aim was to develop an innovative concept in design in healthcare.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The assumption of the project was to create a place where terminally ill people could find relief, regenerate and receive support in any form.<\/p>\n<p>The building was created in accordance with the principles of biophilic design, i.e. connecting people with nature.\u00a0The main part containing the hospice rooms has been enclosed in a glass structure, which guarantees acoustic comfort and the possibility of communing with nature all year round, regardless of the weather.\u00a0The interiors are dominated by natural materials which, together with a large number of plants, bring the users of the building closer to nature.<\/p>\n<p>More:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/translate.google.com\/translate?hl=ru&amp;prev=_t&amp;sl=pl&amp;tl=en&amp;u=https:\/\/www.polsl.pl\/ps_aktualnosci\/bb-student-award-dla-studenta-ps\/\">https:\/\/www.polsl.pl\/ps_aktualnosci\/bb-student-award-dla-studenta-ps\/<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Artur Ga\u0142a, a student of the Faculty of Architecture at the Silesian University of Technology, received the BB Student Award in the &#8220;Hospice &#8211; Home for terminally ill&#8221; competition.
