The consortium members in four projects include three institutes Fluid-Flow Machinery, Hydroengineering and Bioorganic Chemistry<\/strong> <strong>of the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAN).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0European Green Deal\u00a0competition\u00a0invited consortia bringing together representatives of academic, business and city governments.<\/p>\n<p>The Institute of Fluid-Flow Machinery of the Polish Academy of Sciences\u00a0will participate with 11 institutions and\u00a0enterprises in the LOCALISED project, i.e. &#8220;Localised decarbonisation pathways for citizens, local administrations and businesses to inform for mitigation and adaptation action&#8221; and in the HYPERGRYD project, i.e. &#8220;Hybrid coupled networks for thermal-electric integrated smart energy Districts\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0Institute of Hydroengineering of the\u00a0Polish Academy of Sciences will participate\u00a0in the\u00a0REST-COAST project, ie &#8220;Large scale RESToration of COASTal ecosystems through rivers to sea connectivity&#8221;, together with 36 partners\u00a0.<\/p>\n<p>The Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences will take part in the\u00a0ILIAD\u00a0project\u00a0, ie &#8220;Integrated Digital Framework for Comprehensive Maritime Data and Information Services&#8221; with other 56 institutions and enterprises.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The European Commission has allocated EUR 1 billion to fund research and innovation projects that will contribute to the European Union&#8217;s response to the climate crisis and help protect Europe&#8217;s unique ecosystems and biodiversity.
