In 2021, Highly Cited Researchers includes 6602 people, including 6 people from Poland.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Prof.\u00a0Piotr Ponikowski, cardiologist, rector of the Medical University in Wroc\u0142aw and director of the Institute of Heart Diseases at the University Clinical Hospital was the first Pole in history to be mentioned on the list published by Clarivate Analytics for the seventh time in a row.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; I am glad that I have been in such an honorable group once again. I treat it not only as a personal success but also as an important achievement for my university.
