The partnership assumes activities under the so-called knowledge triangle, based on education, research and the creation of innovation.<\/p>\n<p>EIT Health is part of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology &#8211; an EU institution tasked with creating an environment conducive to innovation and entrepreneurship in Europe.<\/p>\n<p>EIT Health includes over 150 universities, institutions and companies in Europe: Sorbonne University, University of Heidelberg, University of Ghent, the University of Technology in Delft, GE Healthcare, Karolinska Institute, Astra Zeneca, Roche, Sanofi, Siemens or Philips.<\/p>\n<p>EIT Health&#8217;s partner institutions create joint projects that are tested and implemented within health systems.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The University of Warsaw (UW) joined EIT Health &#8211; the Knowledge and Education Community in innovation in medicine and health protection.
