The items were transferred to the Central Archives of Historical Records in Warsaw and the State Archives in Bia\u0142ystok.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The archive materials include: over 435 thousand\u00a0scans of the Polonica archives from the State Archives in Lviv from the Przemy\u015bl city books collection (these documents will be transferred to the Central Archives of Historical Records in Warsaw) and over 77 thousand pages of the Podlasie land registers from the State Archives in Minsk;\u00a0some of them will remain in the research centre of the State Archives in Bia\u0142ystok.<\/p>\n<p>Historians are researching and compiling digitally valuable documents for the history of the Republic of Poland as part of a long-term project implemented with the funding of the Minister of Education and Science.\u00a0The works are carried out within the framework of the Institute for Research on the Cultural Heritage of Europe, established 15 years ago.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Over half a million archive Polonica items were obtained by the University of Bia\u0142ystok (UB) historians from the archives in Minsk and Lviv.
