{"id":195678,"date":"2021-09-24T16:19:48","date_gmt":"2021-09-24T14:19:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/polishscience.pl\/?p=195678"},"modified":"2021-09-24T16:19:48","modified_gmt":"2021-09-24T14:19:48","slug":"silesian-scientists-honored-in-the-zygmunt-gloger-competition","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.polishscience.pl\/en\/silesian-scientists-honored-in-the-zygmunt-gloger-competition\/","title":{"rendered":"Silesian scientists honored in the Zygmunt Gloger competition"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Dr Dionizjusz Czubala, ethnographer and folklorist, in the years 1975\u20132002 an employee of the philology department of the University of Silesia, won the 1st award and a medal in this year&#8217;s Zygmunt Gloger competition.\u00a0He was awarded for initiating and conducting unique folklore research, especially in Polish urban legends.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Another scientist from the Silesian university &#8211; Prof.\u00a0Ryszard Kaczmarek from the Institute of History was awarded the 2nd award and the\u00a0Z.
