The University of Gda\u0144sk is one of the signatories of the sectoral agreement for the development of Polish Offshore Wind Sector Deal.\u00a0The objectives of the agreement include undertaking and implementing joint activities in the development of offshore wind energy in Poland and the construction of offshore wind farms.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Over 180 signatories of the agreement are representatives of government and local government administration, investors, entities participating in the supply chain for the offshore wind energy sector, as well as industry organizations, universities and research and development institutes.<\/p>\n

The signatories intend to create a permanent framework for cooperation in the development of offshore wind energy in Poland, considering the need to ensure economic development, increase the competitiveness of Polish entrepreneurs, economic and energy security of Poland based on their own, stable, zero-emission generation sources, such as offshore wind farms.<\/p>\n
