{"id":194273,"date":"2021-09-13T16:59:18","date_gmt":"2021-09-13T14:59:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/polishscience.pl\/?p=194273"},"modified":"2021-09-13T16:59:18","modified_gmt":"2021-09-13T14:59:18","slug":"nicolaus-copernicus-university-in-torun-concluded-an-agreement-with-the-lithuanian-university-of-klaipeda","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.polishscience.pl\/en\/nicolaus-copernicus-university-in-torun-concluded-an-agreement-with-the-lithuanian-university-of-klaipeda\/","title":{"rendered":"Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toru\u0144 concluded an agreement with the Lithuanian University of Klaipeda"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toru\u0144 and the Lithuanian University of Klaipeda concluded a bilateral agreement.\u00a0The main focus of the partners&#8217; cooperation will be research in analytical bio- and ecochemistry.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The collaboration concerns in particular the description of the mechanisms that xenobiotics, pathogens and nanoplastics undergo in drinking water, as well as their impact on the human brain and the development of neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer&#8217;s disease.<\/p>\n<p>Informal cooperation between scientists from Toru\u0144 and the university in Klaipeda has been developing for many years.\u00a0Archaeological research in Lithuania was conducted by Prof.\u00a0Andrzej Kola from the Faculty of Historical Sciences.
