{"id":193614,"date":"2021-09-08T15:31:48","date_gmt":"2021-09-08T13:31:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/polishscience.pl\/?p=193614"},"modified":"2021-09-08T15:31:48","modified_gmt":"2021-09-08T13:31:48","slug":"film-school-in-lodz-to-launch-a-joint-project-with-it-specialists-from-the-lodz-university-of-technology","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.polishscience.pl\/en\/film-school-in-lodz-to-launch-a-joint-project-with-it-specialists-from-the-lodz-university-of-technology\/","title":{"rendered":"Film School in \u0141\u00f3d\u017a to launch a joint project with IT specialists from the \u0141\u00f3d\u017a University of Technology"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Students of Applied computer science at the Lodz University of Technology with a specialization in computer graphics and multimedia, together with the S3D-vnLAB Laboratory Team from the Film School in Lodz, will make a stereoscopic film in a puppet technique and with the use of virtual scenography.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The beneficiary and coordinator of the project is the Film School in \u0141\u00f3d\u017a.\u00a0It launched the S3D-vnLAB studio as part of a grant to create a modern, multimedia Visual Narratives Laboratory, under the pilot competition of the Ministry of Science and Education &#8220;Regional Excellence Initiative&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>-I was invited to cooperate in the production of special effects and virtual stage design for a stereoscopic film and to conduct research work with the vnLAB team.\u00a0The research will be the starting point for writing a textbook on stereoscopy in stop motion animation, which will be prepared at the end of the research process.\u00a0The joint work will also result in a stereoscopic film.\u00a0The premiere of the film IN SIDE and publishing the textbook are planned for 2023 &#8211; said Dr\u00a0Piotr Napieralski from the\u00a0Faculty of Technical Physics, Computer Science and Applied Mathematics, TUL, who chose its best students of applied computer science to implement the project.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Students of Applied computer science at the Lodz University of Technology with a specialization in computer graphics and multimedia, together with the S3D-vnLAB Laboratory Team from the Film School in Lodz, will make a stereoscopic film in a puppet technique and with the use of virtual scenography.
