{"id":193042,"date":"2021-09-03T15:38:08","date_gmt":"2021-09-03T13:38:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/polishscience.pl\/?p=193042"},"modified":"2021-09-06T11:08:02","modified_gmt":"2021-09-06T09:08:02","slug":"polish-german-foundation-for-science-announced-humanities-and-social-sciences-calls","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.polishscience.pl\/en\/polish-german-foundation-for-science-announced-humanities-and-social-sciences-calls\/","title":{"rendered":"Polish-German Foundation for Science announced humanities and social sciences calls"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The Polish-German Foundation for Science (PNFN) has announced two additional calls in humanities and social sciences.\u00a0Scientific institutions and universities in Poland and Germany can apply for funding up to 300,000\u00a0euro for partner research projects devoted to Polish-German relations.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The competition &#8220;German occupation of Poland 1939-1945: politics &#8211; terror &#8211; everyday life &#8211; resistance&#8221; will contribute to\u00a0research on Poland and\u00a0Poles during World War II.\u00a0A Polish-German team of authors will prepare a comprehensive historical study on the German occupation.<\/p>\n<p>The competition &#8220;Culture of memory: media &#8211; prosperity.\u00a0Poland and Germany after 1989\u201d will allow the analysis of the cultures of memory.\u00a0Scientists will identify strengths and\u00a0weaknesses in the perception of a neighboring country.<\/p>\n<p>The application deadline is November 15, 2021.
