From 2 to 5 September, the festival of urban innovations – Miastolab – will be held in D\u0105browa G\u00f3rnicza. This is a new metropolitan project prepared jointly by Fabryka Pe\u0142n\u0105 \u017bycia and the Metropolis of Upper Silesia as a patron of the project. The partners of the event include the University of Silesia in Katowice and the University Center for Critical Research on Technologies.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

The festival Miastolab is a response to new challenges in urban planning.\u00a0It is an event that aims to connect various communities interested in creating a friendly urban environment – the authorities, residents, as well as scientists and local activists.<\/p>\n

The program of festival events should show how city space can be planned in cooperation with residents.\u00a0It includes lectures and debates with the participation of specialists, as well as workshops, film screenings, music and art events and a picnic promoting social activity and cooperation.<\/p>\n
