This is its debut in the main ranking. Earlier, the university has been classified only in the ranking of scientific areas.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This year, 10 universities from Poland were included in the ranking of the 1000 best universities in the world according to the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU).\u00a0The Medical University of Wroc\u0142aw was in the ninth hundred of the ranking.<\/p>\n<p>The ranking, commonly known as the Shanghai List, is the most prestigious list of universities in the world.\u00a0The indicators included in the assessment include the number of graduates (and, separately &#8211; employees) who received the Nobel Prize or the Fields Medal, the number of most cited scientists, the number of publications in Nature or Science journals, and the number of publications in selected indexes.\u00a0The list takes into account the size of achievements in relation to the size of the university.<\/p>\n<p>More:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/translate.google.com\/translate?hl=ru&amp;prev=_t&amp;sl=pl&amp;tl=en&amp;u=https:\/\/www.umw.edu.pl\/content\/umw-po-raz-pierwszy-w-rankingu-glownym-listy-szanghajskiej\">https:\/\/www.umw.edu.pl\/content\/umw-po-raz-pierwszy-w-rankingu-glownym-listy-szanghajskiej<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Medical University of Wroc\u0142aw is among the 10 Polish universities rated in the Shanghai 2021 List.
