One of the leaders of this team is Prof. Krzysztof G\u00f3rski from the Astronomical Observatory of the University of Warsaw.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Professor Krzysztof G\u00f3rski participated in studies on cosmic background radiation since the early 1990s. In the period 1993-1996 he was a member of the COBE satellite team, which for the first time measured the anisotropy of the cosmic background radiation (Gruber and Nobel Prize in 2006).
