{"id":188972,"date":"2021-08-03T15:21:31","date_gmt":"2021-08-03T13:21:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/polishscience.pl\/?p=188972"},"modified":"2021-08-03T15:21:31","modified_gmt":"2021-08-03T13:21:31","slug":"ministry-of-national-defense-to-hold-a-competition-for-the-best-diploma-theses-in-cybersecurity-and-cryptology","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.polishscience.pl\/en\/ministry-of-national-defense-to-hold-a-competition-for-the-best-diploma-theses-in-cybersecurity-and-cryptology\/","title":{"rendered":"Ministry of National Defense to hold a competition for the best diploma theses in cybersecurity and cryptology"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The Ministry of National Defense is inviting participants to the competition for the\u00a0Marian Rejewski Award for the best engineering, bachelor&#8217;s and master&#8217;s thesis and doctoral dissertation on cybersecurity and cryptology.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Only the authors of the works may apply for the competition until August 16, 2021.<\/p>\n<p>The competition is held in\u00a0two categories:\u00a0Competition for the best engineering, BA and MA thesis and\u00a0Competition for the best doctoral dissertation.<\/p>\n<p>Competition participants in\u00a0the first category may be persons who have defended\u00a0their engineering, bachelor&#8217;s or master\u00a0&#8216;s\u00a0thesis\u00a0at a university located in Poland,\u00a0no earlier than October 1, 2019.<\/p>\n<p>The participants of the Competition in\u00a0the 2<sup>nd<\/sup> category may be persons who defended their doctoral dissertations, not earlier than on October 1, 2018, in Poland, which allowed the university to award them degrees of a doctor.<\/p>\n<p>The winner of the competition in the 1<sup>st<\/sup> category will receive a prize of PLN\u00a08,000, and in the 2<sup>nd<\/sup> category &#8211;\u00a0PLN 12,000.<\/p>\n<p>Competition regulations:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/translate.google.com\/translate?hl=ru&amp;prev=_t&amp;sl=pl&amp;tl=en&amp;u=https:\/\/www.cyber.mil.pl\/c\/articles\/atts\/2021\/5\/Regulamin_III_edycji_Konkursu_o_Nagrode_im._Mariana_Rejewskiego.pdf\">https:\/\/www.cyber.mil.pl\/c\/articles\/atts\/2021\/5\/Regulamin_III_edycji_Konkursu_o_Nagrode_im._Mariana_Rejewskiego.pdf<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Ministry of National Defense is inviting participants to the competition for the\u00a0Marian Rejewski Award for the best engineering, bachelor&#8217;s and master&#8217;s thesis and doctoral dissertation on cybersecurity and cryptology.
