{"id":186474,"date":"2021-07-13T15:53:17","date_gmt":"2021-07-13T13:53:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/polishscience.pl\/?p=186474"},"modified":"2021-07-13T15:53:17","modified_gmt":"2021-07-13T13:53:17","slug":"rocket-of-students-from-wroclaw-university-of-science-and-technology-comes-third-in-the-competition-in-the-usa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.polishscience.pl\/en\/rocket-of-students-from-wroclaw-university-of-science-and-technology-comes-third-in-the-competition-in-the-usa\/","title":{"rendered":"Rocket of students from Wroc\u0142aw University of Science and Technology comes third in the competition in the USA"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Students from the Wroc\u0142aw University of Science and Technology scientific club PWr in Space successfully took part in the Spaceport America Cup 2021 virtual competition, taking third place in one of the competition categories.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Students from Wroc\u0142aw took part in the 10k category &#8211; SRAD &#8211; Hybrid \/ Liquid &amp; Other, where they took third place.\u00a0The task of their rocket was to fly to an altitude of 10,000 feet.\u00a0The condition was that the rocket had a hybrid or liquid fuel propulsion.<\/p>\n<p>Spaceport America Cup is the largest rocket engineering competition in the world.\u00a0This year it was organized virtually.\u00a075 teams from 16 countries participated in the competition.<\/p>\n<p>The scientific club PWr in Space of the Wroc\u0142aw University of Science and Technology in Space belongs to the strategic clubs of the Wroc\u0142aw University of Science and Technology 2021.
