{"id":185912,"date":"2021-07-08T16:14:02","date_gmt":"2021-07-08T14:14:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/polishscience.pl\/?p=185912"},"modified":"2021-07-08T16:14:02","modified_gmt":"2021-07-08T14:14:02","slug":"university-of-warsaw-striving-for-climate-neutrality","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.polishscience.pl\/en\/university-of-warsaw-striving-for-climate-neutrality\/","title":{"rendered":"University of Warsaw striving for climate neutrality"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The University of Warsaw (UW) is planning to monitor and reduce greenhouse gas emissions and, in the longer term, is striving for climate neutrality and adapting to climate change.\u00a0The intentions of the largest Polish university were presented by the Rector&#8217;s Plenipotentiary for Environment and Sustainable Development, Dr Robert Rybski.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In May, the rector of the University of Warsaw, Prof.\u00a0Alojzy Nowak,\u00a0appointed\u00a0Dr Robert Rybski as the plenipotentiary for the environment and sustainable development.\u00a0The University of Warsaw is the first Polish university to create this function.<\/p>\n<p>The Rector&#8217;s Team for Ecology and Climate Crisis is developing a draft of low-emission transformation strategy for the University.
