{"id":185359,"date":"2021-07-05T15:28:37","date_gmt":"2021-07-05T13:28:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/polishscience.pl\/?p=185359"},"modified":"2021-07-05T15:28:37","modified_gmt":"2021-07-05T13:28:37","slug":"publishing-house-of-the-krakow-university-of-technology-receives-awards-in-the-technicus-competition","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.polishscience.pl\/en\/publishing-house-of-the-krakow-university-of-technology-receives-awards-in-the-technicus-competition\/","title":{"rendered":"Publishing house of the Krakow University of Technology receives awards in the Technicus competition"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The publishing house of the Krakow University of Technology (PK) won awards in two categories of the Competition for the Best Book and Technicus Technical Guide, organized by the Supreme Technical Organization.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The best technical book of this year&#8217;s Technicus competition was &#8220;Car Design&#8221; by Aleksandra S\u0142adek-Zapletal, a well-known designer working for \u0160koda and Volkswagen concerns.\u00a0The book was published by\u00a0PK Publishing House.<\/p>\n<p>Award in the Technical Guide category was also taken by \u00a0PK Publishing House for the publication of Andrzej and \u0141ukasz Flaga &#8220;Aerodynamics of overhead power lines with consideration of other environmental influences&#8221;. The appreciated monograph is based on the results of scientific and research work of the Wind Engineering Laboratory team of the Krakow University of Technology, implemented as part of the Gekon &#8211; Ecological Concept Generator project.
