Its participants included Polish universities, research institutes, research units of the Polish Academy of Sciences and institutes operating within the \u0141ukasiewicz Research Network.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The first award was received by the invention &#8220;soft magnetic core of a low-power brushless DC electric motor with permanent magnets&#8221; developed by scientists from the \u0141ukasiewicz Research Network &#8211; Institute of Non-Ferrous Metals from Gliwice.<\/p>\n<p>The second award was taken by &#8220;PERK low-molecular kinase inhibitor&#8221;, which may be an innovative\u00a0drug\u00a0used in the prevention and treatment of neurodegenerative diseases, including primary open-angle glaucoma, developed by scientists from the Medical University of Lodz.<\/p>\n<p>The third award was obtained by researchers from the Faculty of Electronics and Information Technology of the Warsaw University of Technology, for &#8220;generator of physically non-copied cryptographic keys&#8221;, i.e. a kind of digital fingerprint that could be used to equip small integrated circuits, thus protecting them against access of unauthorized persons.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dziennik Gazeta Prawna (DGP) has awarded winners of the 8th competition \u201cEureka!\u00a0DGP &#8211; we discover Polish inventions&#8221;.
