Its aim is to strengthen language competencies, as well as to deepen ties with Poland and encourage participants to study in Poland or &#8211; in the longer term &#8211; to cooperate with Polish universities and companies in the science and economy.<\/p>\n<p>The program of the course includes intensive classes in\u00a0Polish as a foreign language (45 hours), lectures on Polish history, culture and literature (30 hours) as well as additional and integration activities.\u00a0The course will be held on the UMCS\u00a0Ekursy\u00a0platform.<\/p>\n<p>Participation in the\u00a0course and\u00a0all related\u00a0activities is\u00a0free of charge\u00a0for\u00a0course participants.\u00a0The project is financed by the National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On 3-24 July 2021, Maria Curie-Sklodowska University will launch summer courses on language and Polish culture as part of the program &#8220;Summer courses NAWA&#8221;.
