The applications for both competitions can be submitted for funding pioneering projects in the basic research and projects aimed at establishing a new research team.\u00a0The National Science Center (NCN) will award PLN 170 million in both competitions.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The MAESTRO 13 competition is addressed to experienced scientists who are planning to conduct research important for the development of science, beyond the current state of knowledge.\u00a0The budget of this competition is PLN 20 million.<\/p>\n<p>The SONATA BIS 11 competition will finance projects aimed at creating a new research team.\u00a0This SONATA BIS will allocate a budget of PLN 150 million.<\/p>\n<p>In both competitions, scientists can receive funds for remuneration for their research team, purchase or production of scientific equipment and coverage of other expenses necessary to implement the planned activities.\u00a0There is no funding limit for a project in both competitions for proposals.
