{"id":182816,"date":"2021-06-15T17:12:15","date_gmt":"2021-06-15T15:12:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/polishscience.pl\/?p=182816"},"modified":"2021-06-15T17:12:15","modified_gmt":"2021-06-15T15:12:15","slug":"researcher-of-the-academy-of-fine-arts-in-gdansk-wins-the-oscar-of-design","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.polishscience.pl\/en\/researcher-of-the-academy-of-fine-arts-in-gdansk-wins-the-oscar-of-design\/","title":{"rendered":"Researcher of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gda\u0144sk wins the &#8220;Oscar of design&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Dr Jan Sikora from the Academy of Fine Arts in Gda\u0144sk won the Silver A&#8217;Design Award 2021 in the Good Spatial Design category.\u00a0He received the award, called the &#8220;Oscar of Design&#8221;, for a\u00a0spectacular revitalization of the space of the old forge in Leszno.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The awarded project is an impressive, two-level show apartment, arranged in a revitalized old forge building, located among other buildings of the complex Lofty na Pompach in Leszno.\u00a0In his arrangement, Dr Sikora highlighted the authentic brick construction and original cast-iron elements from the beginning of the 20th century.<\/p>\n<p>A&#8217;Design Award &amp; Competition is the world&#8217;s largest and most diverse international competition related to architecture and design.
