Prof. Zofia Szweykowska-Kuli\u0144ska from the Faculty of Biology of the University of\u00a0Adam Mickiewicz in Pozna\u0144 has been elected a new member of EMBO – European Molecular Biology Organization.<\/strong><\/p>\n

EMBO is an organization that promotes excellence in life sciences not only in Europe.\u00a0Its main goals include supporting talented researchers at all stages of their careers, initiating the exchange of scientific information and creating a research environment in which researchers can achieve the best results.\u00a0EMBO helps young researchers advance their research, promote them internationally and ensure their mobility.<\/p>\n

New members are nominated and elected by the remaining EMBO members – it is not possible to apply for membership.\u00a0Elections are held every year.\u00a0The newly elected persons will be officially welcomed at the EMBO members’ annual meeting in October.<\/p>\n
